More than 600 Chemtura
employees are trained in Six Sigma and more than 400 are trained
in Lean Manufacturing techniques, focused on reducing waste and
improving efficiency. Employees completed 223 Six Sigma projects
in 2005 and 377 Lean events, resulting in more than $28 million
in cost benefits.
