Our Commitment
To conduct all operations in a manner that is environmentally responsible and protective of the health of our employees and of the public while complying with all applicable environmental, occupational safety, and health laws and regulations.
To pursue continuous improvement of our Environmental, Health, and Safety performance in each of the following areas:
Pollution prevention—environmental protection through waste minimization and emissions reduction;
Product stewardship—responsible handling of company products at all stages, from manufacture through disposal;
Reduction of risk—in transportation, storage, and handling of chemicals;
Employee health and safety—protection and promotion of health and safety of persons working at, or visiting, company facilities;
Process safety—fire, explosion, and accidental release prevention; and
Community awareness, emergency response and preparedness, and community right-to-know.
To establish annual performance goals consistent with this policy and review the goals and performance against them with the corporation's board of directors.
