Polyurethane
foam includes two classes of foam, rigid and flexible. Flexible
foams are mainly open cell foams used for seating, mattresses,
automotive seats, flame lamination to fabrics, packaging foams and
carpet backing. There are some closed cell foams for specialty applications
such as buoyancy aids.
