Polycarbonate
is a linear amorphous polymer which has very high clarity and exceptional
impact strength and ductility. It is used in a wide range of applications
including safety and anti-vandal glazing, automotive instrument
panels and lens systems, appliances, power tools, CDs and light
fixtures. Great Lakes manufactures a range of flame retardants which
are suitable for polycarbonate.
