Fyrebloc® flame retardant concentrates and granules are examples
of how we use a solution-based approach to meet customer needs.
Fyreblocs are low to non-dusting forms of flame retardants.
These products are cleaner, easier and safer to handle, and offer
an alternative physical form to powders and liquids.
Fyrebloc® Concentrates are highly loaded flame
retardant and synergist systems dispersed in a polymer carrier and
compounded into a non-dusting pellet form. Typical loading levels
range from 60% to 90% active flame retardant.
Fyrebloc® Granules are 90% to 100% active flame
retardant and synergist systems. They utilize an active melt blendable
flame retardant and/or a small amount of low melt point wax type
binder to form a low to non-dusting granule form.
Fyrebloc® Blends are 100% active flame retardants
and synergist systems in a powder form. They provide a simple one-additive
package solution to flame retardancy requirements. These products
are available in a range of different packaging options, including
low melt point inclusion bags.
Standard
or Customer Specific
All the
Fyrebloc® products are available in both standard and customized
formulations. In addition other polymer additives such as stabilizers,
process aids and impact modifiers can be included on request.
